Welcome to Etang du Muid Brule trading as Lake Evers an english owned lake since 2007. Set in the french countryside this tranquil area of outstanding natural beauty is sure to offer you a great fishing experience.
 Ideally located, the lake is only 2 hrs 30 mins from Calais situated in the Picardie region just outside the main town of Soissons.
For the past 19 years the 4 acre lake wich is set in a 5 acre plot , has been maturing into an outstanding fishing venue. In 2007 the lake was stocked with 20lb to 36lb carp adding to the existing stock.
For the past 2 years the lake has undergone extensive improvements to accommodate up to 5 anglers. With 5 swims now complete there is on going work for a further 2 swims to enable the angler the opportunity to fish all areas of the lake.
The lake has a depth of 6 feet. All swims are located on one side of the lake and are individually designed with easy access to the water level. On the far side of the lake the trees have been left to overhang and the fallen trees untouched to give the fish a natural habitat.
With the advantage of being fished by only a few anglers Lake Evers offers you the best in carp fishing.  The Fish
Lake Evers being a mature lake was already stocked with various species of carp including grass carp of 1 metre plus and in 2007 further carp weighing between 20 - 36 lb were added to the lake.
The Fishing Lodge
The fishing lodge has been refurbished to a high standard offering the angler a place to chill out after a long days fishing or just to sit back and view the lake and its beautiful surroundings.
Accommodation consists of: Kitchen: Fully equiped with fridge, cooker, and a breakfast bar if you want to eat in and plenty of cupboard space to stock up for the week. The Washroom: Single shower, washbasin and toilet. The Lounge: Seating area, tv, dvd, video and cd player. The cooker and fridge run on gas and all electric is via a generator sited outside the lodge. There is also a small portable BBQ for those who prefer the outside. Only 3 rods per angler allowed. Each angler to have a good sized unhooking mat and landing net. Minimum main line of 15lb (no braid allowed). Bait boats are allowed but be considerate to other anglers. No nuts treated or untreated. No sacking fish. Do not keep carp out of the water for excessive periods. Rods not to be left unattended. Keep the swims clean and tidy (cigarette ends and bottle tops). No swimming allowed. Please use the toilet on site (no defecating around the lake). Open fires prohibited. No loud music of shouting. Please be considerate to other anglers. Park all cars inside the 1st gate. Please put all rubbish in black bags and put in bins provided by the gate. Please leave the lake and ammenities as you found them. From Calais to Soissons takes 2hrs 30mins From Calais take the A26 to Paris. Take junction 11 on the A26 to Soissons. Prices For 2010 The lake is offered on exclusive, long weekend and short breaks for 2010. Weekly Exclusive Rates Saturday to Saturday - £800 per week Up to 5 Anglers with full use of the lodge and all facilities. Long Weekend Rates Friday to Monday - £120 per person excluding lodge. Short Breaks Daily Rate - £30 per person excluding lodge. A 10% deposit will be required to secure a booking with the balance to be paid 4 weeks before your holiday.
